This kind of post has been in the works and I’m so excited to finally publish it. I’m definitely a window shopper and spend most of my time pining away for products that are coming out, and or always selling out. Unfortunately I didn’t make enough to buy all of the things that I’ve been eyeing but all that is changing since I have a new job! Now I’ll be able to buy things to review and show you guys! I have seen so many things that I want that have recently come out and all my money is going to go towards. The Shop Collective widget at the bottom is affiliated so if you buy any of the products listed in this post, I get a percentage of the profit from the buy. Which is awesome! so help a girl out if you want <3
Tarte Clay Stick Foundation: Just like I had said in my foundations for Oily Skin post I said that the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation is one of my all time faves, and I’m always on the look out for foundations that work well with my skin, at this point I have about 6 foundations. ( I promise I’m not a hoarder lol) anyways this is new from Tarte and I wanted to give it a try since I don’t have any stick foundations in my collection yet.
Marc Jacobs Decadence Fragrance: Now, I have a smaller sample fragrance of this perfume and I took it with me to Europe and I literally wear it all the time. I’m saving to buy this one frankly because it’s still almost 70$ to buy the smallest bottle but it’s so worth it in my opinion. It smells so classy and sultry, and it has floral scent which I absolutely love. Sephora states that it has hints of: Italian Plum, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine Sambac, Liquid Amber; my sample size lingers all day which is why I want the larger bottle (not to mention it is gorgeous).
tarteist™ PRO Amazonian clay palette: Ughhhh this palette just genuinely gives me life, The colors are so pretty and Tarte will forever have my heart. I’ve been eyeing this palette for a while now and really want to splurge on it. I have a few palettes but none with colors like this one.
Ofra Highlighter in Rodeo Drive: This highlighter literally needs no explanation because it is absolutely beautiful in every review that I have seen on YouTube and or review that I’ve read. It’s the type of highlighter that leaves you looking sun-kissed, and I’m all about a bright highlighter. I don’t own many and want to give a few more a try because the Becca highlighter in the Chrissy Teigen palette has hardly any pigmentation; even with a good setting spray set on the brush before applying. I think it’s worth the price tag and I’m gonna take the plunge eventually. (Christmas is coming!, hint hint)
Fizz & Bubble Lip Scrub in Mint Mojito: Not entirely sure why but I have always had dry lips, and unfortunately I also have a habit of nervous biting my lips even when I don’t mean to. Even as I get older, I can’t help it so I’ve been wanting to see if exfoliating and using lip balm might help. Do you have any tips on combating dry lips? If so, leave a comment below please!
Too Faced Bronzed Peach: Okay, so I wanted to list the entire Peaches & Cream collection that Too Faced came out with but I couldn’t lol simply because I do plan on doing a review of some products when I can get to Ulta (hopefully soon!). This entire collection is gorgeous and Too Faced always does an amazing job when it comes to their design of their products. Too Faced is another brand that I absolutely love and one of the first higher end companies that I purchased items from. This highlighter and packaging is sooo pretty and I think that it’s the perfect neutral color as a highlight for my skin tone.
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation: I am an absolute foundation fiend, as you all know if you read my foundation post and this one is a higher end foundation that I’m dying to give a try. I’ve watched Beauty gurus on YouTube rave about this foundation and it has almost a 5 star rating on Sephora with 3k reviews. So I definitely want to give this one a try; the company states that it is a: “An oil-free, long-wearing, liquid foundation that delivers medium-to-full coverage and leaves a natural-looking, velvety-matte finish for up to 24 hours.” Y’all I haven’t had any foundation last longer than 7hrs at least and that’s pushing it, so any foundation that tries to pull the 24-hr card makes me wanna debunk or see if it can truly last on oily skin. Cause this girl has extremely oily skin and if it can withstand the 10hr day than by all means; it’ll become a holy grail foundation.
Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara: Urban Decay has never appealed to me, but I’m a sucker for anything holographic and shiny. They did so well with the packaging of this mascara and there has been so much hype about its release that it made me want to buy it. I have sensitive eyes and they water depending the mascara I’m using and if I’m being honest I haven’t found one in particular that doesn’t make my eyes water like I’ve just had an upsetting day. I definitely want to give this one a shot and hopefully it works for me! I’ll give you guys a review once I can pick it up!
Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes Palette: This can be referenced to the peach bronzer above, I love all the colors in the palette and if it smells like peaches, then of course I’m picking it up!
Ciate Glow-To Illuminating Blush in Amber Pink: Isn’t this blush and packaging gorgeous?! If you hadn’t noticed, I’m obsessed with packaging lol but what makeup lover isn’t? I honestly just want this product for the color and packaging. I haven’t tried Ciate cosmetics before and I would love to give it a try. Their nail polishes are lovely so I don’t doubt that this product will be great as well.
GlamGlow Bubblesheet: I absolutely love GlamGlow! so when I saw this on Sephora in their New Arrivals I definitely almost just bought it then and there. I love masks and it is even better since I love this brand so much. I can absolutely attest to their products as I use the skin clearing treatment of theirs religiously if I’m having troubled skin. I’m so excited to try this product out as well.
Missguided Babe Powder Fragrance: Now, this one is bit of a bummer. I want to try and buy this scent so badly but it can’t be shipped to the US which is quite unfortunate. I wanted to pick it up when I was in London this past July but didn’t have the time. I hope that it does smell good because I’m definitely picking this baby up when I come back to the UK (hopefully soon!).
