Munich, Germany: Photo Diary Part 1

MUNICH, GERMANY PHOTO DIARY | ASHLEYMARLENIS.COM

Y’all, I’m so excited to share with you guys my trip that I took for two weeks where I visited 7 countries and I’ll be posting a photo diary for each country. This is only a snippet of what I was able to enjoy in Munich, Germany which was absolutely incredible. I honestly wish I had more time in Germany since we were only there realistically 2 full days. I landed in Munich from Nashville (which was a debacle to begin with, but that’s for my review later on!) in the late afternoon and we stayed at the Novotel Munich Hotel which was soo nice and comfy ( the bed was literally heaven).  On our second day we visited Neuschwanstein Castle which inspired the castle from Sleeping Beauty and I almost can’t believe the amazing quality of the pictures that I was able to take. I fell in love with Germany and I can’t wait to go back again! The first night we were there we had our welcome mixer at Hofbrauhaus and I had the biggest beer I’ve ever had. I have so many photos from Munich that I have a part two planned for you guys. I absolutely loved walking around and getting lost in the city with a whole new group of people. For those of you who want a close-up itinerary; I’ll be posting a separate post on just that!

Lake Alpsee; view from castle and up close. The water was beautiful!

Neuschwanstein Castle was incredible but word to the wise, the walking is pretty strenuous unless you are used to walking for long periods of time. lol our tour director said it would take less than 40 minutes, but it literally took us an eternity to get to the top to make it to the castle and even longer to make it to the bridge where the picture below was taken.

Walking around Munich was so nice and the city was absolutely beautiful and I managed to snap a few photos of the man below that made me smile with his singing. He was so nice and I loved his clothing! He was outside of Hofbrauhaus singing away and it was the cutest thing.
